Related products 1.0.0 documentation

The related products module gives the possibility to relate products with each other. Customers can see related products while reading detailed product description.  Products may be related automatically and/or manually.

Automatically relate products

PrestaShop has standard module Tags. Administrator can enter tags for every product under product description in catalog area. Our module gives ability to relate products with same tags automatically.

Manually relate products

Administrator can relate products manually by choosing related products from catalog.

Back office:

  • Enable / Disable automatic products relations by tags
  • Enable / Disable manually assigned products relations
  • Manually relate products

Front office:

  • View related products while reading product detailed description

INSTALLATION:

The installation of the module is very easy. Just unzip your archive and upload it’s content to your PrestaShop root.

Insert hook: {$HOOK_RELATED_PRODUCTS} in /prestashop_root_folder/themes_name/product.tpl file.

Update prestashop_root_folder /header.php, insert in smarty array:

‘HOOK_RELATED_PRODUCTS’ => Module::hookExec(‘related_products’)

Change (if you wish) front side style: modules/related_products/related_products_mod.css

The gallery module in PrestaShop gives you a possibility to display and manage your pictures and also post them in facebook’s wall directly through your website. This functionality is achieved by including “Like” and “Share” buttons in the module. You can choose which pictures you would like to see in the facebook’s wall as “liked” ones. You can decide whether any users or just registered ones can review images without loading new window as well.

Back office:

  • Upload as many pictures as you want at once.
  • Decide which pictures to show, and which to hide.
  • Edit name and alternative name (alt) of pictures.
  • Change position of picture by dragging or using up/down buttons.

Forum 1.0.0 documentation

The forum module in PrestaShop gives a possibility for your e-shop customers to comunicate with each other and even administration, discuss the products and services and payment options. Administration can simply post important information, consult customers and make surveys. It is compatible with facebook’s „Like“ and „Share“ functions to like or share what you are doing in your facebook’s wall.

System of defence is installed in this module. It allows you to block maliciuos customers from writting in forum, but customers still be able to browse the e-shop and buy products and services.

Customer can use BB code panel for writting messages, insert YouTube videos and hyperlinks.

Back office

Topics:

  • Edit name and text of topic.
  • Delete topic one by one by pressing delete button.
  • Edit answers.
  • Delete answers one by one by pressing delete button.
  • Edit survey.
  • Delete topic of survey.

Categories:

  • Create category.
  • Delete category one by one by pressing delete button.
  • Decide which category to show, and which to hide by simple click of “on”/”off” button.
  • Edit category.
  • Set order of category list by mouse (drag and drop)

Consumers insurance:

  • Filter users by username, lastname or email
  • Block users, setting the beginning and the end time of the blocking.

Forum settings:

  • Decide number of topic and answers to be shown per page.
  • Enable/Disable facebook’s “Like” and “Share” buttons by clicking “on”/”off” buttons.
